Scope of Application<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>These terms and conditions apply to orders placed through the <a href=\"https:\/\/variset.dev2.wds.fi\/verkkokauppa\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"4859\">online store<\/a> between companies belonging to the V\u00e4riset Group (hereinafter &#8220;V\u00e4riset Group&#8221;) and consumer customers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. Formation of Contract<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>A contract is formed when:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>the customer has placed an order in the online store, and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>V\u00e4riset has sent an order confirmation by email.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>V\u00e4riset reserves the right not to accept an order for justified reasons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>V\u00e4riset may check the customer&#8217;s credit information before accepting the contract.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. Prices and Payment Terms<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>All prices include VAT unless otherwise stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Project and service prices:<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>are agreed as fixed prices in the order confirmation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>do not include index linking<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>change only if the VAT rate changes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Unless otherwise agreed:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>invoices are due 14 days from the invoice date<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>late payments are subject to interest in accordance with the Interest Act<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>collection costs are charged based on actual costs incurred<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The customer does not have the right to withhold an amount exceeding the undisputed defect amount.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4. Delivery and Service Performance<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The service completion time will be agreed separately with the customer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The stated timeframe is an estimate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>V\u00e4riset is not liable for delays resulting from:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>weather conditions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the customer&#8217;s failure to fulfill their obligations<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>force majeure<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>If the service is postponed by more than 1 month due to reasons attributable to the customer, V\u00e4riset has the right to invoice incurred costs before starting the work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">5. Customer Obligations<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The customer is responsible for ensuring that:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>the worksite has unobstructed access<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>water and electricity are available<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>necessary selections (e.g., color shades) are made on time<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>6. Right of Cancellation (Distance Selling)<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>You have the right to cancel an agreement made in the online store within 14 days of entering into the agreement without giving a specific reason.<br\/><br\/>The cancellation must be clearly communicated to V\u00e4riset before the deadline expires.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you request the service to begin before the 14-day cancellation period expires and cancel the agreement thereafter, you must pay reasonable compensation for the work performed.<br\/><br\/>If the service has been fully performed with your express consent before the cancellation period expires, the right of cancellation no longer applies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Refunds will be paid within 14 days of receiving the cancellation notice using the same payment method you used.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>7. Additional Work<\/strong><br\/><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Work not included in the contract will be invoiced at an hourly rate:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Painting work: \u20ac60\/h (incl. VAT 25.5%)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Replacement of wooden parts and other carpentry work: \u20ac70\/h (incl. VAT 25.5%)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Travel costs: \u20ac1.25\/km (incl. VAT 25.5%)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Materials, supplies, and lift costs will be invoiced based on actual consumption<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additional work will not be performed without the customer&#8217;s consent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>8. Warranty<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The work is covered by:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>2-year warranty<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>5-year warranty for tile roof coating<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The warranty covers the adhesion of paint or coating to the treated surface<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The warranty does not cover:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li> natural disasters<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>storm damage<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>problems caused by substrate structures<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>9. Errors and Claims<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The customer must report any error within a reasonable time, generally within 14 days of discovery.<br\/>V\u00e4riset has the primary right to correct the error at its own expense.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If the error is not corrected within a reasonable time, the customer has the right to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>a price reduction<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>compensation in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Liability for indirect damages is limited to the total contract price paid by the customer, unless the damage was caused intentionally or through gross negligence<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>10. Limitation of Liability<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>V\u00e4riset is not liable for:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>problems arising from the surface being treated<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>movement of wood<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>rust, unless otherwise agreed<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>water availability at well sites<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>conditions occurring before or after the work<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>11. Insurance<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>V\u00e4riset maintains valid:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>liability insurance<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>workers&#8217; insurance<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>equipment insurance<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>12.
