Riikka Holmsten and Jukka Lepp\u00e4nen had <\/strong>their facade painted <\/strong><\/a>by V\u00e4riset Oy at their semi-detached house in Vantaa. The other half of the semi-detached house was also treated at the same time. The painting went smoothly in the hands of professionals, and the couple didn’t have to sacrifice their summer days on a painting project.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Riikka, who works as a Customer Manager at Isku Interior, and Jukka, who works as a Sales Director at an international IT company, live in a semi-detached house built in 2005 in Vantaa.<\/p>\n\n

– We bought this brand new back then. Nothing had been done to the exterior cladding over the years, so we knew this kind of renovation was coming, Riikka and Jukka say. <\/p>\n\n

Riikka and Jukka originally intended to paint the house themselves. However, the couple lives a busy life and values their free time, so they also explored options for outsourcing the renovation. <\/p>\n\n

– The first option was to paint the house ourselves, Riikka and Jukka note.<\/p>\n\n

– However, you should consider how big of a job it really is. It’s not just about applying paint to the surface, Riikka advises others considering house painting. <\/p>\n\n

When V\u00e4riset, found at the Vantaa Jumbo showroom, made a site visit<\/a> and gave the couple a quote, the choice between doing it themselves and outsourcing didn’t take long to make.<\/p>\n\n

– The price wasn’t bad, and the neighbors also got excited about the idea of outsourcing the painting project, Riikka says.<\/p>\n\n

– It takes quite a lot of time if you start doing it yourself. All that effort of getting scaffolding, paints, and other supplies – considering that, the price wasn’t bad, Jukka notes. <\/p>\n\n

“Nothing to complain about”<\/h3>\n\n

According to Riikka and Jukka, the exterior painting went well from start to finish. The residents trusted the professionals in both planning and execution of the painting – and the result reflected that. <\/p>\n\n

– They assessed what needed to be done and proceeded independently, carefully, and systematically. They washed the eaves, brushed the house, and painted both the house and the eaves’ base boards. <\/p>\n\n

– They protected everything really well. Not just the foundation, but the yard plants and everything else, the couple recalls with satisfaction. <\/p>\n\n
