The house received a look worthy of its character in the hands of V\u00e4riset&#8217;s painters in the summer of 2024. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>&#8220;The house was built by writer-artist Kaarlo Enqvist-Atra as his artist&#8217;s villa,&#8221; says <strong>Anne Lind<\/strong> about her home.<\/p>\n\n<p>Enqvist-Atra spent his summers at the villa, while traveling to Florence for the winters. The artist passed away in 1961, and at that time Lind&#8217;s parents purchased the house from the estate. The family lived in the house for a few years, and from 1975 to 1997 the house served as the venue for Lind&#8217;s textile artist mother&#8217;s summer exhibitions. The villa thus has a rich artistic history.   <\/p>\n\n<p>In 1997, a renovation was carried out with respect for the old. At that time, the house also received its previous coat of paint. After the renovation, Lind returned as a resident of the house, and today she lives there with her spouse <strong>Pentti Aaltonen<\/strong>.   <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">&#8220;Professional and good&#8221;<\/h2>\n\n<p>The painting project began when a V\u00e4riset salesperson stopped by. The need for exterior painting had already been on the agenda. Lind and Aaltonen requested quotes from other companies as well, but ended up choosing V\u00e4riset to carry out the work.  <\/p>\n\n<p>&#8220;The salesperson took our needs into account very well and the contract draft was really professional and good.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n<p>An agreement was reached in October, and the painting work was scheduled for early summer 2024.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Not the easiest project<\/h2>\n\n<p>The painting work was done at the turn of May-June by one pair of painters. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.virtasenmaalitehdas.fi\/tuote\/virtasen-4-oljyn-laatumaali\/\">Virtanen Paint Factory&#8217;s 4-oil paint<\/a> was selected. The painters updated the residents on the progress of the painting work through a shared message group.  <\/p>\n\n<p>&#8220;The WhatsApp group was an extremely good communication tool. It was really nice when the painters took pictures of what they had done and what they would do next.&#8221; <\/p>\n\n<p>The painters receive praise.<\/p>\n\n<p>&#8220;A few spots needed some touch-ups, but everything was handled well in the end.
