Väriset Online Store Terms and Conditions

1. Scope of Application

These terms and conditions apply to orders placed through the online store between companies belonging to the Väriset Group (hereinafter "Väriset Group") and consumer customers.

2. Formation of Contract

A contract is formed when:

  • the customer has placed an order in the online store, and
  • Väriset has sent an order confirmation by email.

Väriset reserves the right not to accept an order for justified reasons.

Väriset may check the customer's credit information before accepting the contract.

3. Prices and Payment Terms

All prices include VAT unless otherwise stated.

  • Project and service prices:
  • are agreed as fixed prices in the order confirmation
  • do not include index linking
  • change only if the VAT rate changes

Unless otherwise agreed:

  • invoices are due 14 days from the invoice date
  • late payments are subject to interest in accordance with the Interest Act
  • collection costs are charged based on actual costs incurred

The customer does not have the right to withhold an amount exceeding the undisputed defect amount.

4. Delivery and Service Performance

The service completion time will be agreed separately with the customer.

The stated timeframe is an estimate.

Väriset is not liable for delays resulting from:

  • weather conditions
  • the customer's failure to fulfill their obligations
  • force majeure

If the service is postponed by more than 1 month due to reasons attributable to the customer, Väriset has the right to invoice incurred costs before starting the work.

5. Customer Obligations

The customer is responsible for ensuring that:

  • the worksite has unobstructed access
  • water and electricity are available
  • necessary selections (e.g., color shades) are made on time

6. Right of Cancellation (Distance Selling)

You have the right to cancel an agreement made in the online store within 14 days of entering into the agreement without giving a specific reason.

The cancellation must be clearly communicated to Väriset before the deadline expires.

If you request the service to begin before the 14-day cancellation period expires and cancel the agreement thereafter, you must pay reasonable compensation for the work performed.

If the service has been fully performed with your express consent before the cancellation period expires, the right of cancellation no longer applies.

Refunds will be paid within 14 days of receiving the cancellation notice using the same payment method you used.

7. Additional Work

Work not included in the contract will be invoiced at an hourly rate:

  • Painting work: €60/h (incl. VAT 25.5%)
  • Replacement of wooden parts and other carpentry work: €70/h (incl. VAT 25.5%)
  • Travel costs: €1.25/km (incl. VAT 25.5%)

Materials, supplies, and lift costs will be invoiced based on actual consumption

Additional work will not be performed without the customer's consent.

8. Warranty

The work is covered by:

  • 2-year warranty
  • 5-year warranty for tile roof coating
  • The warranty covers the adhesion of paint or coating to the treated surface

The warranty does not cover:

  • natural disasters
  • storm damage
  • problems caused by substrate structures

9. Errors and Claims

The customer must report any error within a reasonable time, generally within 14 days of discovery.
Väriset has the primary right to correct the error at its own expense.

If the error is not corrected within a reasonable time, the customer has the right to:

  • a price reduction
  • compensation in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act

Liability for indirect damages is limited to the total contract price paid by the customer, unless the damage was caused intentionally or through gross negligence

  • workers' insurance
  • equipment insurance

12. Dispute Resolution
