Aarne Hartelin’s home tile roof was covered in moss. The musician, known from the Finlanders band, chose Väriset to restore his roof in the summer of 2025.
The roof of the home, built in 1999, was in need of care.
“There are tons of coniferous trees around. Tree saplings and a huge amount of moss have grown there. We figured something had to be done.”
Väriset had coated the neighbor’s roof the previous year. Based on the neighbor’s positive experience, Hartelin decided to order the maintenance work for his own roof from the same company.
“He was able to recommend them, saying it was really great all around.”
Perttu Aunio from Väriset Varsinais-Suomi Oy arrived on site to inspect the roof’s condition. Hartelin tells Perttu how the assessment visit went:
“A comprehensive takeover. You climbed right up there and spent ages clattering around. You photographed everything carefully and showed where the problem areas were.”
The actual roof work began with a carpenter repairing the underlayment. After that, Väriset’s painter arrived to coat the roof.
“The neighbor’s roof was coated by the same person. Worked beautifully and it was absolutely incredible how it turned out perfectly.”
Hartelin recommends Väriset.
