Renovation Painting of a Detached House in Sipoo

The renovation painting of the detached house belonging to Maija and Vesa Lepistö from Sipoo, completed 20 years ago, was carried out by Väriset Oy in spring 2016. Väriset Oy was selected to carry out the work particularly based on the company’s values and operating methods.

– In fall 2015, I searched online for companies doing painting work here in Uusimaa. I also requested a quote from Väriset Oy at that time, Maija recalls.

Values and Operating Methods Were Convincing

Jeremias Peltokorpi from Väriset Oy came to visit and inspect the Lepistö house. Jeremias checked the exterior surfaces of the house and assessed which surfaces needed painting. He also noticed that the window frames had started to peel slightly due to UV radiation and therefore needed new paint. In addition to the wall surfaces, the window frames were also painted.

– During the visit, Jeremias told us about himself, his company, and its values. They employ young men from their own area. I was impressed by this idea and value, because this is exactly the kind of activity our national economy needs right now. All matters related to the painting work were also reviewed carefully and thoroughly down to the smallest detail, Maija says.

The painting work was started in spring at Maija’s request, as soon as the weather allowed. The work was initially estimated to take about five days, but in the end it was completed in about three and a half days.

– You could see from everything they did that they wanted to do their work well. For example, they searched for a long time for the right red ochre shade for our house because they wanted to find exactly the right color for the paint. The actual painting work on the detached house went very smoothly, yet carefully and neatly. The men worked long days to get the painting work done quickly, Maija praises.

After the renovation painting was completed, a final inspection was carried out, where the painting was reviewed section by section. The Lepistös have been satisfied with the final result and the quality of the painting.

– I thought the price-quality ratio for painting the detached house was good, and the overall service was high quality. The whole project was well considered, and nothing was left unfinished. Everything was done properly from start to finish, listening to the customer. Pleasant young men who also cleaned up after themselves properly, Maija sums up.
