“Excellent work” – As Oy Lempäälän Kotikulma maintenance painting

“In our housing company, we value quality and getting things done smoothly.” This is what Katariina Taittonen, chairperson of the board at As Oy Lempäälä Kotikulma, says. The exterior painting of the wooden parts of the housing company’s four residential buildings, built a decade ago, was becoming due.

The housing company has both rendered and wood-clad walls. Väriset’s painters restored the wooden parts to their original glory. The eaves, originally treated with a translucent stain, were now painted with a more opaque paint, extending their maintenance interval.

Community spirit was also tested

Of course, not all of the painting needs to be outsourced.

“We decided to test the housing company’s community spirit and left the painting of the fences around the apartments to ourselves. When you’re painting them yourself on vacation and choosing color codes isn’t the easiest – that’s something that could have been included in the contract, but it was also easy to take on ourselves.”
